Topiaries for my March RAK cards

Happy Wednesday, ya'll!  I cannot believe how fast this week is going already... Good Friday and Easter are right around the corner and I haven't made the first Easter card, yet.  I better get busy, but first, I wanted to share with you some more of my cards that I've been sharing around the world.

Whenever I see boxwoods, it reminds me of all those years ago learning about the beautiful gardens of Monticello and actually being able to walk through them.  Granted Monticello was not the first place to have trimmed hedges and beautiful gardens, but it was the first that I remembered visiting and I have been fascinated with beautiful gardens ever since.  Thus, when I first saw Vertical Greetings I knew it was a must-have stamp set for me.

This awesome RAK group I am in is so fun and inspiring for me; however, each time I make a card to send, I want the group to know that it is an "Angie" card each time they see it.  My first cards I shared showed my love of flowers and art...  my February cards showed my love of dogs and cats...

Well, my March cards were created and mailed in April because of life happenings and Spring Break.  Since they were a tad bit late, I needed something fast and decided to take a tip from a fellow stamper and made multiples of the same design.  This was hard for me to do as I put so much love into my individual creations... I reminded myself that these cards would be like making Christmas cards when the purpose is to get my message out to as many people as possible.  Sure I did not quite make it to 25, 50, 75 or 100+ cards, but I did make 13 of them!  Creating one card always takes a long time so making multiples was quick once I had all the measurements and assembly figured out.  I cannot wait to create more cards like these but with a different twist!

These March cards show my love of topiaries which is influenced by the many, many beautiful gardens I have walked through over the years since Monticello.  I hope you enjoy these cards as much as the random recipients!!!

My first horizontal card based on the measurements of the metric cards in other parts of the world!
Metric "skinny" cards are awesome!

For those of you familiar with the metric/imperial conversions,
can see how I was able to get TWO of this design with our 8.5"x11" cardstock?!
And yes, I stamped my own "custom designer cardstock"!
